Attached to the historic 1767 General William Hart House is our Exhibit Gallery.  Opened in 2005, it has showcased numerous summer exhibits:  Old Saybrook in the 1950’s; “Slavery in Old Saybrook”; watercolors by Society member Pat Osborne; and “The Other Harts”, a presentation of 18th and 19th century Hart women of Old Saybrook.

The exhibit is open weekends in June, July and August.  Watch this section for a description of our next summer exhibit.  The Exhibit Gallery is another wonderful reason to tour the historic Hart House and reconnect with the rich history of Old Saybrook.
