Research services we provide.

We are glad to offer historians and genealogists access to these materials during our regular hours, or by appointment. Library volunteers are available Wednesday and Archival volunteers Thursday mornings 9:00 to Noon. For appointments call 860-395-1635. Limited research services are also available to those who are unable to visit us. Requests for extensive research are often referred to a professional genealogist or researcher. Write specific questions with concise background information and send a SASE to:

A volunteer researcher will spend up to one hour at no charge to determine whether or not the Archive has material pertaining to your question. If significant resources are available at the Archive, you will receive an estimate of additional research charges billed at $15/hour plus expenses. (Shipping and handling at cost, photocopies $0.25 per page.)
